Dr Najib Boudra, obstetrician gynecologist with over 30 years of experience, provides pregnancy follow-up at the Boudra Fertility Center, 7 Rue Abdelkrim El Khattabi in Fes: regular consultations, scans every trimester and answers to your questions until the birth.

Dr Najib Boudra is an obstetrician gynecologist. He has been practising for over 30 years and heads the Boudra Fertility Center, the first IVF center in Fes.
From the positive test, he sees you to confirm and date the pregnancy and to plan the follow-up. At each consultation he checks your health and your baby’s, and takes time to answer your questions.
Confirmation and dating of the pregnancy, first blood tests and the first-trimester scan, usually done between 11 and 14 weeks.
Regular consultations and the anomaly scan, around 22 weeks, to check how the baby is developing.
Growth scan around 32 weeks, blood pressure checks and preparation for the birth.
A postnatal consultation to review your recovery and contraception.

During pregnancy the heart and lungs work harder, the breasts prepare for breastfeeding and the uterus grows to make room for the baby. These changes can cause tiredness, breathlessness, frequent urination or ligament pain.
Digestion also slows down: early nausea, heartburn and constipation are common. A varied diet, smaller meals and gentle exercise often help. Tell Dr Boudra about every symptom: he will explain what is normal and what needs checking.
Call the center or go to the emergency department if you have:

Scans are done at the center every trimester and whenever useful. They are painless and use no X-rays. Our pregnancy ultrasound schedule explains what to expect.
If your pregnancy follows an insemination, IVF or ICSI at the center, Dr Boudra follows you as a continuation of your care. Do not take any medicine, even a common one, without medical advice: see our page on aspirin and pregnancy.

Three scans are usually offered, one per trimester: around 12 weeks, around 22 weeks and around 32 weeks. Dr Boudra may prescribe others if your situation requires it. Read the pregnancy ultrasound schedule.
